Join Michael Meade for a timely exploration of how the world can align with us as we align with our heart’s true purpose.
Each person born has specific genius qualities and each has a calling that can lead to psychological growth and finding a genuine life purpose. Typically, the issue is not a lack of calling, the problem is hearing the call and heeding it amidst all the distractions and uncertainties of modern life.
A genuine life purpose is not an optional choice, but something set within our hearts waiting to be revealed. The struggles we encounter and the losses we suffer can open pathways to the center of the self where purpose waits to be found, where vitality can be renewed and where spirit whispers the nature of our calling in life.
In critical times there can be an acceleration of calling that opens the pathways of genius and imagination that give life meaning and purpose, but that also can reveal our best ways of serving the world.

The growing sense of uncertainty that now plagues the world creates increasing feelings of vulnerability and anxiety within us. A greater psychological understanding and a deeper sense of self become necessary, both to survive and to live meaningfully. For, what shatters familiar patterns can also awaken us to more authentic ways of being and more creative ways of seeing the dramas of life.
Each soul born naturally carries genius qualities, a true sense of calling and a meaningful purpose in life. Awakening to our authentic sense of self protects our psychological well-being. It allows the story set within our souls to unfold and can lead to essential moments of healing and wholeness.
Solving the pressing problems in the outer world turns out to require a transformation of our inner world. While we may feel isolated and overwhelmed, we are not alone. Rather, we can be inspired and guided by the archetypes of wholeness and creativity which respond to times of crisis and upheaval. As we transform ourselves from within we can find ways to contribute to a transformation of the world.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 8 :: 10 am- 5 pm

As the world becomes more conflicted and chaotic, we have a greater need for practices that are centering, restorative and creative. Throughout the ages, meaningful practices have served as primary pathways for psychological and spiritual growth and for finding an inner sense of refuge and unity.
The soul’s inner aim has always been to practice becoming who we already are at our core. The inward practices of meditation and the paths of creative arts such as music, painting and writing are primary ways to self discovery that help us become more vital, authentic and resilient.
Whether through creative arts, contemplative practices or a combination of them, we need ways to keep renewing our spirit, opening our hearts and finding healing and inner coherence. If we cannot sustain the vitality of our own being we become unable to help change the conditions that threaten the future of humanity and the Earth itself. A heartfelt practice can help inspire, heal and transform our lives; it can also help us contribute to a world in need of imagination, healing and renewal.

“Because our greatest gifts and deepest wounds reside in the same area; because the resurrection of old pains can be so fearful and painful, people need to be reminded in diverse ways that the inner dream of life, the wise word set within and the psychic gold are the natural inheritance of each human soul. Because it is so easy to forget what we so desperately need to remember; old stories talk of golden treasures and great dreams that call us to undertake adventures and pilgrimages that in the end reveal what was within us all along.”
