COURSE OVERVIEW

We are mythic by nature and each person carries the thread of an essential plotline that tries to become known in the course of life. Our personal myth involves an energy laden, core imagination that has the power to orient our life and move our soul towards its destiny.

Throughout history myths have provided essential clues for revealing the style, meaning and purpose of the stories trying to live through us. The inner myth is our personal link to the power of transformation and our secret connection to the heart of nature.

Each soul bears the seeds of a unique pattern trying to unfold; yet an outer drama is needed to reveal the story within us. At this time, the outer drama involves the transformation of life on earth. So the stage is set for a collective transition based upon the awakening of the genius nature of individual souls.

When enough people transform their lives, culture transforms as well. The issue becomes how to envision the world in new ways and contribute to the re-imagination of human culture. There can be no better time to learn the pattern set within our souls and claim the mythic thread that brought us to life to begin with.

PART 1 - THE INSIDE STORY

At each critical juncture in life, the story of the soul tries to break through and become more conscious. Facing up to the crisis at hand gives us insights into the lay of the land, the precise psychic territory where the soul would have us grow. The hidden gift in a life crisis or troubling time is the potential for a psychological breakthrough that leads to a transformation of self and soul. In following the soul’s mythic thread, we can find the arts and practices and genuine aims that allow our souls to grow deeper and our spirits to also rise.

PART 2 - SOUL’S HIDDEN GRADIENT

As the outer world suffers conflicts and collapse, a balancing imagination and energy for healing tries to awaken within our individual souls. The in-born code of the soul provides us with a gradient or guideline that can aim our energy as well as protect our lives. This inner gradient is a mythic umbilical that plumbs to the ground of our being, but also connects us with the soul of the world. When in touch with the inner gradient we can draw upon the deep resources and creative imagination of our souls.
