Being ancient and immediate at the same time, mythic imagination opens us to the wonders of spirit as well as the healing waters of the soul. We are mythic by nature and instinctively tied to nature’s essential and enduring pattern of life, death, and renewal.
Creation myths, when actively imagined, can reveal insights and visions needed to transform life at both individual and collective levels. The archetypal process of descent into confusion and darkness initiates an emergence of greater consciousness as well as a renewal of vital energy from below. By turning to soul’s source-center within, we touch the life-making mud of truth and find the regenerative, rejuvenating waters of imagination.
